For decades, Carol Lee Reigleman introduced generations of local children to dance, creating traditions and memories that extended far beyond the stage.
This mini digital exhibit celebrates Carol Lee and her contribution to the arts in the Greenville, PA area by taking a look at the 40th Annual Revue: Rock This Town.

About Carol Lee
Born: August 12, 1940 in Greenville, PA
Opened her first dance studio in Sheakleyville shortly after graduating high school in 1958.
Moved studio to downtown Greenville circa 1995.
Accreditation: 50 year member of Dance Masters of America, Inc., Pittsburgh Chapter 10.
Achievements:
Celebrated 50th annual recital in 2009
Traveled to out of town competitions and had many numbers place in various categories over the years

Forty Years of Dance
By 1999, Carol Lee Dance Studio had reached its 40th Annual Revue, a milestone which was recognized by the local paper (The Record-Argus, Greenville, PA).
The article showcases the longevity of the studio as well as its role in shaping generations of local dancers.
Carol Lee continued to create beautiful productions for the community for an additional 10 years following the 1999 recital.

Carol Lee made a huge impact on her dancers, shaping the people they would eventually become, with her teachings and mentorship. She also provided a great service to the Greenville community at large by bringing people together to celebrate the art of dance for 50 incredible years.
Preserving the recital recordings, programs, costumes, and other associated materials for this collection ensures that Carol Lee and her legacy will continue to inspire future generations for many years to come.
